About

When Tracey Biscontini and her family moved into their home in Old Forge, Pennsylvania, the neighborhood was overrun with stray and feral cats. At that time, she had no idea what TNR stood for (trap, neuter, return) or that organizations existed in her area to improve the lives of stray and feral cats. These groups included St. Cats in Scranton and No Nonsense in Plains. Tracey soon learned how to safely trap the cats near her house, and with the help of neighbors and friends, began fixing them and finding homes for the strays while feeding and providing shelter for the ferals.

A professional writer and editor, she founded Love Our Meows for cat lovers and cat rescuers. The blog contains articles about cat care, news about legislation affecting cats, and stories about cats that have been rescued.
